Neuro-developmental therapy, INPP Method, is a non-invasive, drug free method of treating the underlying causes of many learning, behavioural, physical and emotional difficulties.

How can it help my child?

Building Strength: Through guided exercises, children can build muscle strength, which is crucial for supporting their body and improving mobility

Processing Sensory Information: NDT(Neuro-Developmental Therapy) helps children better process and respond to sensory information, which can improve their coordination and movement accuracy.

Balance and Stability: NDT helps children develop better postural control, enhancing their ability to sit, stand, and move with stability and balance.

Engagement and Learning: By improving motor skills and sensory processing, children are better able to engage in learning activities and interact with their peers.

NEURO-DEVELOPMENTAL THERAPY can help with:

Learning Difficulties

Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Attention Deficit Disorder also know as ADD, Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder also known as ADHD, Underachievement and Autism.

Co-ordination Problems

Balance-related problems, e.g. difficulty learning to ride a bi-cycle, motion sickness etc.

Hand-eye co-ordination, Clumsiness, Dysfunction of Attention, Motor, Perception (DAMP).

Behavioural Problems

Attention, Concentration, Poor impulse control, Bedwetting.

About Anne-Marie

Welcome

Hello, I’m Anne-Marie.
I am a wife, a mother to two young men and a grandmother to two loveable children.

After teaching in the primary sector for thirty years, I retired and became fully qualified and insured as a neuro-developmental therapist.

I received my training at the Institute of Neuro-Physiological Psychology in Chester, England in July 2020. I set up practice in Derry, Northern Ireland where I live, as Kinected Moves.

Being involved in the education of young minds has been my life’s work to date and when I discovered neuro-developmental therapy, and the INPP Method in particular, I knew the direction I needed to follow. Through all my years in the classroom, I encountered children struggling with learning difficulties and as the years passed the number of children requiring support with their learning increased, as did the conditions that were preventing them from learning.

It did not occur to me that there may be a physical solution to these problems that would help to lift the barriers to development and learning. Learning about retained reflexes, developmental delay and neuro-motor immaturity and how all of these contribute to learning difficulties has been a “light bulb” journey. I now want to let parents and carers and families know that there is light at the end of a tunnel of frustration with schoolwork, behaviour or anxieties.
